Working wood needs a re-finish every now and again. This is the finish handmade here at valley house and what goes on every kitchen item before it heads to your kitchen. It is a blend of mineral oil, beeswax and sage oil.

Mineral oil is a completely natural and food-safe oil. It never cures, or hardens, and so it needs to be re-applied to keep working wood looking good.

The beeswax helps to form an inert layer on top of the wood that locks the moisture of the oil in and keeps bacteria out.

To use, apply a small amount to wood with a lint-free cloth or hands. Let sit for 5 minutes and then buff away excess. Use monthly for best results.
